NASIG 2023 has ended
Welcome to the NASIG 2023 Conference.  This conference will take place at the Omni William Penn Hotel,  Pittsburgh, PA, May 22-25, 2023.  Please visit the NASIG website for conference details.

The NASIG Evaluation & Assessment Committee wants your feedback on the 2023 NASIG Annual Conference in Pittsburgh, PA. To fill out our evaluation survey, use the following link: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/NASIG2023.

As in previous years, you will be asked to rate the sessions and workshops you attended. You will be asked to rate presenters, as well as provide an overall rating for the sessions. You will also have the opportunity to rate other conference events, facilities, and arrangements and to provide input for next year’s conference. The deadline for filling out the survey is Friday, June 16 at 11:59 p.m. EDT. Conference attendees who complete the survey will be eligible to enter a drawing to win a $50 gift card.

Abstract:
Presentation #1: A comparison of available products that do SUSHI harvesting: CELUS, LibInsight, EBSCO Usage Consolidation, 360 Counter.
Presentation #2: Open access is changing usage patterns and expanding both who is accessing information and how it’s being accessed. How do we report and communicate OA usage in a standardized and useful way?
Learning Outcomes:
Presentation #1
-Attendees will be able to describe the advantages and disadvantages of several SUSHI harvesting tools that are available currently.
-Attendees will learn what CELUS is and how it works.
-Attendees will learn what LibInsight is and how it works.
Presentation #2
-Attendees will learn about how the evolving open access publishing and distribution models are changing usage reporting, how different stakeholders want to use usage data to evaluate impact and value, and some of the specific issues that our community is grappling with in developing standardized usage data sharing practices.
